Stylin' & Profilin'
Pittman, Smith & Hamilton getting ready to dismantle a CPU team
Nuggets continued their highly successful season over last two nights.
Magic opened the game by going 32-8 in the first quarter. Denver slowly caught up and took their first lead late into fourth quarter. A true test of will and determination.
@ 74-78
Jeremy Lin got too excited so his nose started bleeding.
The second human game of the season came against a hot Houston team that beat both Portland and Utah earlier into the day. A game where both teams had their runs and leads but no one could make the decisive move. A string of bad luck caught up with Denver late into the game with Iggy missing an A- free throw and Bogut missing a dunk because he grabbed the rim too soon. With 5 seconds to go Denver had the inbound at half-court. First play was designed to get Lawson open, and it worked but Houston went with a quick foul to stop the shot. Second inbound was a trick play, with Lawson drawing defenders into thinking that same play is happening only to have Iggy go wide and get a fairly open 3 point shots that rimmed out.
Next up, it was supposed to be a game against the Wizards but poor network conditions prevented the game from continuing mid 3rd quarter. Phoenix took Wizards place and came into Denver for a quick game.
@ DEN WINS
I assume that was Shaq playing for Phoenix.
The third human game finally meant the first win for Denver. Phoenix went with the cheap way for the most part while Denver had 6 players over 7 points, and actually showed some variety in their offensive sets. Marcin Gortat was channeling his inner Shaq for the most part but at the end of the game it was Andrew Bogut who despite Gortat scoring 22, stopped him from scoring at least another 22, won the Jordan Player of the Game award. Phoenix Suns organization fired their coach soon after the game. Alvin Gentry is taking over for now.
*That's actually 14-2

Ooh yeah!
Millions of Dollars.
Denver had a busy Thanksgiving Thursday:
First game versus San Antonio took five attempts to finish. Signed out of PSN and Network errors made me spend playing against SAS at least 10 quarters.
Next up was a game against Leroy.
@ 63-58
Not even a laggy hand on the ball could stop Iggy.
We took a commanding 28-16 lead early second quarter but then lag came and Leroy took advantage of Hatr's connection and came back. He even went up 5 points in the 4th but two quick threes made the game even. Last 60 seconds were truly nervous with Leroy trying to catchup a three point Nuggets lead with long range shots and Gallo being calm on the free throw line.
K-Mart couldn't handle watching such a close game.
Then came a sim W over Miami Heat. Fully deserved since we would trash the Heatles either way. Bravo CPU_Nuggets.
4th game of the day was a blowout win against the Dallas Mavericks.
Midget flying.
Final game of the night was Iggy's return to Philly.
@ 54-43
Please don't go. F* Bynum.
Nuggets took a lead from the tip off and never looked back.
Quincy Miller wants to show you what position Nuggets are in the West.

Took advantage of Nuggets in my first game ever with them. That's why.

Nuggets going to the WCF IMO. I don't know against who, but they'll be there.

My goal is still to make the playoffs, I'm not fooled by these wins.
A big fuck you to 2K who ignore Player of the week Ty Lawson & Bogues (not on all star voting list & 8th among centers).

One and one
Salute.
Nuggets played two more games last night (while game 3 against Indiana dropped two times).
@ 57-61
Crax, gm? - Sure lets play on arcade settings.
The only shot Golden State missed in first half was the half court attempt before the end of the quarter. Nothing can be done in such games.
@ 83-75
Up by 5. #Clincher
Second game was Heat, and since sliders aren't really pro-defense (screw the 3rd best defense) it was time to out-gun the Heatles. Quality win.

Luka asking Crax for a gm in the chat....lovely. Sorry I missed that precious moment. #Memories
Denver might win the West. I'm not sure Portland has enough talent to keep up with the Nuggets. And then Paul status is up in the air with the Lakers, although the Lakers CPU wouldn't be an easy out in a series.

^You have your work cut out with the Blazers. There's only one guy on that roster who can be trusted to manufacture his own shot and that's LMA. When the D gets turned up and your perimeter guys are iffy, that's tough. A lot of guys couldn't win big with the Blazers so it's not a negative against you.
