The jeezy track got 94% from the community. wtf is that shit? I never seen a score so high... And it's fucking jeezy. He hasn't changed since got damn 2004
Interesting that riff raff & Gibbs will finish with the best albums of the year. Buncha garbage released this year. I didn't like Ross album either
Well 2013 had everyone. 2014 is their break, so it's time for someone to step up
Nothing else worth a fuck is comin out this year imo
Ross album had it's good songs but the weak ones really held down the album. Reminds me of watch the throne. The great songs are great but the bad songs are REALLY bad
Riff raff really is the Jamie Kennedy thing but a more realistic/serious version lol. Riff raff is from Houston, an influential hip hop city and grew up around the culture. The Jamie Kennedy character was from Malibu, aka the whitest part of California
Lupe is def a top 10 influential rappers of this decade, although his relevance is damn near 0 atj. I liked his new single but eh, doesn't look like many other people cared lol. I think people just tired of him
The hipsters used to love lupe but the market of hipster rappers is completely over saturated. Everyone likes the useless queers at TDE now instead. Theres a lot more useless cunts outside of TDE that hipsters love, like Joey wacka$$ and his friends, Odd Future etc

His impact on rap itself is minimal but he was going or of a societal impact. And that worked for him

That guy was amusing lol. I noticed that years ago tho. I used to listen I all the gay hipster shit but I realized it was completely pointless. I need to be a weird mix of uptempo aggressive & happy and scrubs like 2pac do the opposite of that lol.
I went from listening to that to trap & pop/happy rap. Good workout and life music imo

Glad you liked it, I love the energy of Elliot...It touches me etc...
So, I listened to this Tech N9ne song, which was nice and the comments of his fuckin fans...
"Tech is going mainstream?!"
"Oh noooo"
"This is not the Tech we used to love and know"
"Tech is not going mainstream, mainstream is going Tech"

That's why I hate the hipsters. It's damn near impossible to even go "mainstream." The closest person to do so is drake, but that was a product of more attention coming to him.
No one in the mainstream community gives a shit if some garbage rapper makes a "radio friendly song," you have to have the personality FFS. People can sense the fakeness and they don't like it
Not one artist out there has ever made the transition from "underground" to "mainstream sellout." Not one single person

^ I feel like he's gonna take a trap type of sound for whatever he's working on now. He kinda fucked around with it on yeezus and I know he said he wants to do something a little more traditional but different. Sounds like trap music to me imho
