I got my handles, security & layup ratings up. I can legitimately go 1 on 5 for a possession or 2 imo

Just checked, athletic big seems to have a lot better ratings and stat caps than defensive big.

Two different players, two different saved files. I assume if we played crew I'd have to load MyCareer up with the right guy, exit, and then log into Crew. Shouldn't be an issue IMO

My god does the create a player blow. There's one afro hairstyle and in total there are 3 black man hairstyle. Thank Yeezus we have the young Mike Tyson hairstyle and Ronnie 2K's hair in game. Oh and the Drew Gooden patch. I don't know what I would do without those.

The creation options are laughable. I'm tempted to fire up CHoops 2k8 for PS2 and see if the options are all the same. They are IMO

I usually just stick with default face and add hair and tats. Nothing else to accomplish.

Pre-2K9 games had better face editors. You could really mess with colors, shadows, features and actually have decent faces. Check out fat Barkley CAP from 2K8 and try to make it better on 2K14.

That actually looks better than Barkley they had in 2k13.

But hey, the shoe editor is amazing tho. It doesn't matter that you can't really see any detail on the court in game.

Take your time, crews aren't a thing that can be played every day anyways. It's only good in small doses.
