That guy is the worst case of pandering to a crowd I've ever seen in my life. It's clear that he wants to pull off the "cultured" sense by saying the album is unique, yet bashes it to please everyone else

Lets look at the stupid shit this guy said:

"College Droput is my favorite album, unpopular opinion" Yes, and Lebron is good at basketball, UNPOPULAR OPINION. I love this album but it's reached Illmatic point. By that I mean, it's the most overrated album and this guy says its unpopular opinion, rofl

Then he bashes 808's and heartbreaks, which up until MBDTF, was considered the best album in a musical sense. It's prob his 2nd/3rd best album, and I thought this was common knowledge.. Shit everyone intelligent knows its common knowledge and nothing wrong or "edgy" by saying it.

He gives Graduation the nod for being his best album, which is the biggest sin kanye music. Us kanye Stan's know that this is reaching Illmatic level with less annoying people (college dropout is overrated with "hip hop heads"). This is the most overrated album with either the average fan, or the guy who appreciates great production. Saying Graduation is his best album is perfect example of someone who doesn't know kanye

MBDTF is his best album to date (not my favorite). Yet he completely ignores it. This album has like 5 songs in the Rolling Stones top 25 songs, so that should prove that it's the most transcendent album he's ever done musically. White people loved it, blacks loved it, people who wanted certain social commentary loved it etc.. His best work to date & again commemon knowledge

Then he says Yeezus wasn't lyrical? This was prob the best we've seen him lyrically since Late Registration. Then he says the execution was wrong, lol I've said enough, I could write a book about how well done the album was. I hope people don't listen to this guys garbage

I'll give The Gifted a listen in a couple weeks. Cole is nice before bed or relaxing. Yeezus is good for getting hyped. Both are good for 2k13

He can do more but he hasn't gone in like that in a while. Every album ha it's moments where he goes HAM, so does yeezus. It's no different, my only knock on it is that it's 10 tracks. I didn't want it to end

Middle albums can be rearranged but there's no doubt that MBDTF is the best & College Dropout is the worst. (And it's still amazing)

My personal biased order for reasons beyond music:

Graduation > MBDTF > Yeezus > 808's > Late Registration > College Dropout

That was my biased order...I just love late registration...

Btw, the Wale album would be a 7.5/10 if there wasn't the Rihanna remix song and the Tiara Thomas version, since it's there it's 8.5...

My personal order is pretty much the same as the actual order. My personal reason for having graduation so high is Flashing Lights. His 2nd best song ever imo (Good Life @ 3)

Lol I never understood how people can listen to instrumentals only. Even with me making them, I'm not used to it. Its awkward imo, unless there's a lot of stuff going on the track.

Sometimes instrumentals can be soothing. Some songs are better as instrumentals IMO

Every album is rated 60 except like 2 It's fuckin pop music, what can they possible rate this on FFS. She hasn't made a bad song in the last 5 years.. I've loved literally every track from 2008

I think they know just as much about her as you do. She's the only balanced artist ever. In a 16 track album, 4 tracks are pop, 4 tracks are hip hop, 4 tracks are r&b/soul, 4 tracks are reggae/dance.. What more can you ask for? There's something for everyone

Hard has to be her best song. The only song from a female artist that you can blast in the hood and not get any shit about it

ambidextrous. interesting way to look at it. the edge that i have over other artists as a rapper/producer is that I depend on myself to craft my own sound. So many people want me to go work with the producers who are determining hip hop's CURRENT commercial sound and criticize me for using my own beats. But like it or not, this is MY sound. No one else's.
the rapper side of me does look forward to the day when he doesn't have to sit around and wait for the producer side to make a beat he likes.
the producer side of me does look forward to making beats for somebody other than J. Cole, who doesn't always get him.
make sense? probably not?

Another Rihanna song I like is Take Care with her and Drake. Forgot about that one. That's one of the 5 songs from Drake I can tolerate.
