The Cavs trade was a backup plan after the Calderon one fell apart. I want Gibson because he's Houstonian and Gee was pursued this offseason by Morey, but he decided to stay in Cleveland.

That's quite a bit of salary savings for the Heat in the future but then again Okafor and Booker aren't exactly great players, while Bosh is rated quite well and is still under the age of 30.

I don't see the appeal for the Heat to do it (I think they could do better for Bosh) but I approve. Why not imo

I'm only considering it because Okafor is a better & stronger defender than Bosh. Bosh 's offense skills kills both of Okafor & Booker combined. So we'll see.

With Nick Young swapping in for Korver, the Hawks have no SF at all. In this trade, they get 6'9 defensive Corey Brewer who is approaching his prime. They're also weak at C besides Horford, so they get Mozgov who improves year-after-year.

In return, Hawks will swap picks with Nuggets so Atlanta can still get a prospect from the draft. Nuggets get a chance to move up and draft a backup PG (rumors of A. Miller retiring after this season) in a PG-loaded class. Nuggets throw in this year's 2nd round pick for sweets.

summary: Atlanta improves their two most weakest positions, Nuggets move up in draft.

Btw. they didnt lose a sf with Korver trade, they never had one. Both Korver and Nick Young are SG/SF, only Young is rated +10.

Only trade I could come up with to find a pick that will probably be 8-14ish in the draft. I really doubt ATL finishes around the 5 worst teams, especially after the addition of Nick Young.
