Roster Breakdown
First up, the starting five:
(@Bynumite doesn't really exist)
PG, Jrue Holiday #11
35k Followers
Without any doubt the starting PG. Will see extended minutes and is expected to be the 2nd best player. His level of play will determine teams success.
SG, Jason Richardson #23
155k Followers
Even though he's only 31 it seems like he's been playing for 20 years in the league. Gets the starting nod over Nick Young simply because Nick has a mind of a 7 year old.
SF, Evan Turner #12
110k Followers
With Iggy gone its his time to take over the Point Forward role. Will probably play as SF, SG and backup PG if needed. The Villain is here to prove his 2nd pick status and prove that trading Iggy was a good move.
PF, Spencer Hawes #00
27k Followers
Starts as PF because he's gonna fill the homeless mans Gasol role alongside Bynum. Probably the first sub out, and the sub in as center when Bynum gets tired. His former coach called him an 7ft guard. FML.
C, Andrew Bynum #33
No Followers
Here to prove that Kobe held him back and that he's heads and shoulders above the wooden hands Howard. Probable league leading scorer, All Star, All NBA team.
F, Thaddeus Young #21
23k Followers
The sixth man, capable of playing both forward positions and a possible 6th man of the year candidate. He's the 4th guy of the Big Four (Bynum, Holiday, Turner, T.Young). Will see plenty of minutes.
SG, Nick Young #1
47k Followers
This years Louis Williams. A gunner, capable of turning every game around off the bench, but also capable to bury his team even further. Hopefully he'll do better than in LA last season.
SF, Dorell Wright #4
73k Followers
The veteran swingman will bring energy, defense and a smooth shot off the bench. He'll also be a part of an small ball lineup and fill the 4 spot.
PF, Arnett Moultrie #5
24k Followers
Rookie power forward is still rough offensively but with his energy, athleticism and rebounding, he'll probably use very well every minute he gets. #Prospect
PG, Maalik Wayns #18
11k Followers
This years feel good story. A Philadelphia native, born, raised and playing for the Philadelphia based Roman Catholic HS and Villanova University. If he manages to get a regular season spot among the 15 guys, the crowd will have a new fan favorite. He'll definitely get a chance to showcase his skills. #Prospect
These 10 players will be a part of the rotation. Remaining players are either randoms, bums, both or on waivers. If we actually sign Josh Howard, he will be waived. There's no need for an 4th string has-been cancer SF who can't shoot or be productive. Our 61 year old coach is a better swingman at this moment than Josh Howard.
Best lineup Holiday / Richardson / Turner / T. Young / Bynum Give up / Celtics lineup Wayns / N. Young / Wright / Moultrie / the Mascot
Now lets turn to the front office roster breakdown. Untradeable: (don't bother) Jrue Holiday Evan Turner Thaddeus Young
Almost untradeable: Andrew Bynum - He'll be moved in only two scenarios: if he can't live up to expectations or if he starts an contract extension drama, then he will be gone in a heartbeat. Staying 90%
Right price, goodbye: Jason Richardson Nick Young - 1yr deal, lack of maturity Dorell Wright - 1yr deal Spencer Hawes - has an interesting 2yr deal, could be a good trading piece
LOL GTPhO waived!: Kwame Brown - no explanation needed Lavoy Allen - bum, 3mil contract
That's it for the roster breakdown. Next up: Sixers short and long term plans.
Another piece of trivia:

Ratings leaked
(Thanks to Hassan for pointing out that video.)
Apparently someone got a hold of an retail version of the game, and was kind enough to video all player ratings. However the ratings seem at least a month old, and while 2K will probably release an roster update when the game releases (or one month after Christmas and blame it on the '99 lockout). In this build Sixers lack Maalik Wayns (if he's missing after the update 2K better start searching for a new cardboard box headquarters because I'll burn the motherphucker down *strong language warning* *too late for the warning?*)

Legend - Post Proficiency; - Bruiser; - Hustle Points; - Brick Wall; - Pick Pocket; - Chase Down Artist; - Finisher; - Corner Specialist; - Microwave; - Post Playmaker;
Breakdown: - Almost everyone but Evan and Kwame (and Ivey) is a better attacker than defender, and some like Hawes and Nick Young don't even understand the term defense. - To compensate for lack of defense we'll probably have to play plenty of zone and run whenever possible. - Bynum has all those cheese skills to abuse. Hawes has the post playmaker skill so he'll fit nicely with Bynum. - There are too many corner specialists and too few corners. - Nick Young has an A outside game. Suck it. - Sucks that Evan has no sig. skill, and Jrue has only one, the most pointless one - Pick pocket. - Kwame has a skill? Kwame has a skill. Kwame has a skill!!!
The short & long term strategy plan coming soon.

: Are you serious, 2k sports? KWAMAY BROWN? YOU WANNA GIVE KWAMAY BROWN, OUT OF ALL THE PLAYERS IN THIS ORGANIZATION, A SIGNATURE SKILL?! KWAMAY.. BROWN? Quite Frankly, I'm APPAWLED.
: I think they sold him short.

But don't you remember all those games where Kwame would backdown his defender all the way under the basket until he got 2 easy points? Yeah, me neither. Whores is GSW bound.

#SixersWinSixersWin
Evan Turner finishing strong.
After the lockout was lifted late Flast night, today Philadelphia went on the road to Detroit for their season opener. In a game where Sixers led by 10-12 for the most part we have witnessed some drama late into 4th quarter. With 5:30 to go, Bynum fouled out after an questionable defensive foul (and another one the possession prior to that). With 4:30 left Detroit and referees finally went up in front 56-55 thanks to two free throws by Greg Monroe. From that point on, Sixers went on a 19-2 run (Holiday 3, Holiday 2, Hawes hook, Turner 2 mid rangers and a dunk (his only 6 points of the game), Holiday layup, Hawes tip-in, Thaddeus Young corner 2) and won it the end by 16.
Nightly notable: Jrue Holiday with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists.
WTF moment of the night: Referees calling BS after BS foul on Bynum and a loud "F* You Joey (Crawford)" scream from Aaron McKie, the Sixers assistant coach. (According to one expert the people in charge of the league might send Mckie up to 6 months in jail in worst case scenario).
Sixers to sign Rudy Fernandez?
GM Tony DiLeoball on prospects of Rudy signing with Sixers: He's definitely one of the top European players and we would be foolish to not look his way to close our perimeter rotation. We hope that the offer we sent to him is good enough to lure him back to the States after signing with Real Madrid earlier this year.

CPU_Bums and Human_Apathy
Andrew Bynum uses the CPU inability to rest on the bench.
Among those wins we have:
Phoenix Suns @ Philadelphia 76ers 59-72
Philadelphia 76ers @ Boston Celtics 78-52 (SIM)
Simply an amazing performance by CPU_Sixers. Good job fellas.
Philadelphia 76ers @ Orlando Magic 79-59
Spencer Hoes, the rim-grazer.
A blowout against one of the worst teams assembled. Sixers had six (obvious pun) players over 9pts without anyone sticking out all while resting the main guys.
Notable Players: Andrew Bynum 13pts Dorell Wright 12pts 9reb Jason Richardson 12pts Nick Young 10pts Jrue Holiday 10pts 7as Evan Turner 9pts 4reb 5as
Washington Wizards @ Philadelphia 76ers 63-88
Kwame was a mystery for Wizards defense. Kwame was a mystery for himself, too.
Another blowout. While Leroy spends time jerking-off in the bleachers his team on the court sinks lower and lower.
Notable players: Too many to count.
Some interesting tidbits, stats and updates after first five games.
Sixth game (Sixers - sixth, so clever) was also the first losing one. Boston Celtics @ Philadelphia 76ers 66-50
In a game where Philly couldn't hit a shot for 3 quarters the low-scoring offense simply couldn't match against the hot 2nd half Celtics. Fuck you Jrue. Fuck you JRich. Fuck you SwagyP. Fuck you Dorell. Fuck you Hoes.
Nightly notable: Andrew Bynum 17pts 8reb
New signing?
Meet Your Sixers Dream Team dancers

30 Years in the making
This season the Sixers celebrate 30 years from their last title win. Hope all Philadelphians won't have to wait long for a new championship banner. *Cheese mode engage*

Big day in Philly
LeBron stepped up for the win, but not before 2 OT's.
Three games were played yesterday:
The game vs Milwaukee was notable for the fact they there was some kind of a glitch at start of third quarter. The score was 47-20 when the CPU_Mbah was supposed to inbound the ball to start the third. However he wouldn't inbound for the next 5 min while holding the ball in his hands and the ref not counting him the 5 sec. He just stood there and nothing I tried made him move or inbound. So that game had to be restarted. Game 2 was an uneventful win by 10 or so. I barely remember the game.
Then followed up a 73-68 loss to SIM_Knicks. Shame that this game couldn't be played.
Third game against the Heat goes in history as one the greatest games I have ever played in ISBA, even though I lost after double overtime. The game was an offensive masterpiece with both teams trying to outscore the other (and very little defense). Neither team had a significant lead through the first 3 quarters, and 4th was just bucket for bucket. Bynum had the chance to win the game with 1.5 remaining, and after a timeout LeBron missed a long 3. In first overtime Heat went up by 5 with 60 seconds left. Jason Richardson made a layup after a steal, and Heat missed their chance to put the game out of reach. Then Dorell Wright hit a big 3 over Ray Allen with 2 seconds left to tie the game. After another Miami timeout, LeBron missed another 3 to win the game. In 2nd overtime, Miami again went up by 5 with 60 sec to go, but thanks to some smart fouling and offensive rebounds Philly came down by 3 with 15 seconds to go. The final possession didn't really work out that well and resulted in a bad Holiday pass as Miami snatched the win.
Here are the end game stats (courtesy of NBA on TNT)
Miami didn't really play to their fullest for most of the game and they have plenty of reserve, but this game goes into the top part of the all time great games, a prestigious group that includes:
- Original #BuckWinBucksWin game vs Jeebs where he fell down and threaten to kick me because he lost - Arena Zagreb I – the David West Revenge game - Arena Zagreb III – the 2 OT loss - The 2nd AllStar game - The Classic 34-28 loss vs Raptors - Scal's TeamUp gamewinner - #BucksWinBucksWin vs the eventual champion Paul and his Lakers - The first annual Floater Massacre in the Bay - The Chris Duhon 8 game MVP series - Bucks win over the CPU_Wolves after Ridnour airballed the game winning free-throw. - LaMarcus Aldridge going 19/24 from the field for a 44 point 13 rebounds game vs CPU_Rockets
In other news that shook up the ISBA world:
The rumored Aldridge deal is apparently only days away from going through. After months of speculations and talks from "sources" and experts it seems that the deal is happening once the League approves the deal.
Factors that led to the big trade so soon: - Bynums lack of impact on the game, esp. on defense and the fact that he slows down the team so much that in the end game result suffers. - His contract extension uncertainty. - He didn't say Hi to coach Collinsball yesterday morning before the practice.
Another front office update:
