R2MVP #OpeningWeek Empty
PostSubject: R2MVP #OpeningWeek   R2MVP #OpeningWeek Icon_minitimeThu Oct 18, 2012 8:51 pm

#LeaderOftheWeek (or just scroll down to see who's number one, or first watch the video for more excitement :royce3: p.s. Luka it's not Royce, hold your erection please, you too Bryan ) :

(in HD where available, sorry for my Chinese, Taiwanese and German fans, they can't watch the video, blame the NBA, UMG, MoultonHawk, EDC and MJisaLegend-DatFreshBoi-HOFfgt or whatever the fuck he goes by)

Hello and welcome to the opening week of ISBA #R2MVP. For those who are new here, in ISBA we do this thing called #R2MVP and it's the crown for the most valuable player or as known the Chris Duhon award (the best player that ever stepped on the ISBA court and had some spectacular MVP performances, also the logo is Chris Duhon dunking on the whole Jazz team, not some white boi named Jerry West shooting) now back to the topic or is it off topic? Since Duhon should be THE TOPIC, well nevermind. So let's go off topic with our #R2MVP. The list is based on:

1. HUMAN GAMES PLAYED VS CPU GAMES PLAYED (if you played more human games you have a bigger shot of getting your superstar the prestige Chris Duhon Award > on topic again Stern , so we're not here to value the computer, we value humans here, so back on topic Chris Duhon is the man right?)

2. STANDINGS + STATS = HIGHER RANK (better the standings and the better the stats, the higher the rankings, it's that simple)

Let's go off topic again and go with the flow:

NUMBER ONE

Carmelo Anthony 23.7 PPG | 4.4 RPG | 1.5 SPG | .551 FG% | .429 3P%
Two words to describe Melo’s work this opening week: Amazing and Excitement. Yes, Justin and the Knicks and of course Melo have been spectacular so far. Beating the Heat in Miami and the Celtics in New York. Carmelo was the main reason why. Hitting two gamewinners in those two games. One over Haslem which was a two pointer and the against the Celtics a big three with 15 seconds left on the shot clock, giving the Knicks a 3 point lead which sealed the game. Also he won the game against the Lakers in overtime too last night. He has been the main headline in ISBA and his coach Justin Hudson. Carmelo Anthony has it all: the scoring, the flashyness, the glamour, the pretty boy face and most importantly for #R2MVP is that he has the standings and the stats to land on the no.1 spot in our opening week.

NUMBER TWO

LeBron James 23.7 PPG | 4.3 RPG | 6.7 APG | 1.3 SPG | .601 FG% | .417 3P%
Oh yes, this is going to fire a lot of disscusion. Why is LeBron no.2? Simply because his „buddy“ Carmelo beat him in their matchup in overtime and scored the gamewinning shot. Other than that, LeBron has been spectacular. Also he has been clutch. Hitting shots against Philly in 2OT and he put Miami up for the first time in the game in the last 47 seconds of the famous Boston game they played. All in all LeBron is striving for the No.1 spot, we really don't know how much Melo will last because coach Justin and his Knicks can go in a losing streak, while Miami should be consistent for the whole season. Never than less he's no.2 and if the Knicks skip a beat, he's no.1.

NUMBER THREE

Ty Lawson 21.9 PPG | 4.9 APG | 1.0 SPG | .554 FG% | .471 3P %
Ty Lawson made it and he's in the top three!? Yes, he had some great perfomances despite logging big minutes. But he put up some great numbers even when he was logging lesser minutes. So what's the deal with Ty? His team is a conender mostly because of him, he's been hitting the mid range shot, he's been running the fast break through perfection. This little 5'10-5'11 rascal has been driving, dishing, crossing and disturbing the ISBA world since day 1 of this beautiful association. Coach Hassan has been using him well and iif he keeps up he'll do just fine in #R2MVP. But, is this his limit? I agree, yes. Chris Duhon says also that number three is his limit. Can he prove us wrong? Damn right he can.

NUMBER FOUR

Kevin Love 19.3 PPG | 7.2 RPG | .585 FG% | .591 3P %
KLove has been simply amazing. And quite surprising for coach mulac (Hrvoje, not Bounce Hrvoje, he's the other Hrvoje, oh nvm w/e call him however you want) who has improved his coaching this season and the TWolves could become a team with homecourt advantage in the playoffs. Not only that the team is good, but Mr.Love is on a groove. The guy sometimes just can't miss a shot. After scaring the Heat and almost winning, then puttin up a fight against the Celtics and then winning some key games to get this team to a top 5 team in the West. Boy oh boy, if the TWolves continue their strive in the standings, watch our ISBA, KLove is (Ludacris voice) coming for that number one spot.

NUMBER FIVE

Rajon Rondo 9.0 PPG | 10.5 APG | 2.2 SPG (league leader) | .512 FG%
Mr. Rondo had a great first week, posting some really nice signature games and Rondo/Oscar Robertson performances. He’s one of the top assist men in the league, he’s the number one pick pocketer and he leads the Celtics and so far he’s been their most consistent and best player. He’s become the franchise icon for the Celtics and as the Celtics rise he will rise too on this list. His stats back it up because he’s always in triple double zone when his minutes are above 23 since his mpg is 23.4, as the season goes his stats will go up too since the run for homecourt avantage goes on a higher level. He had great games against the Lakers and Heat and if keeps up, we might see him even higher on the list.

NUMBER SIX

Royce White 10.7 PPG | 5.1 RPG | 8.4 APG | .593 FG%
Speculation swirled around ISBA, will Royce White be in the #R2MVP? Will he? C'mon give us a hint. The wait is over. Royce is HERE! I know Luka you just ejaculated. Calm down (wipe the screen off and now continue reading). So this guy had a spectacular opening week. Well we all chanted #Royce4MVP before the season started. But we were half joking. But this guy is for real. Posting near close triple double numbers and most important delivering in the clutch against the Boston Celtics. Let me repeat that for you, delivering in overtime against the Boston Celtics. Glad you understood, nothing more to say, do your thing young fella in week 2 too.

NUMBER SEVEN

Stephen Curry 17.1 PPG | 3.2 RPG | 5.6 APG | 1.1 SPG | .521 FG% | .391 3P%
Everybody loves this guy and his healthy ankes so far. Everybody loves coach Crax/Dexter and most importantly everybody loves the latest Craxiors success. Yes finally coach Dexter has put a lot of work and Craxiors are a top 5 defense in ISBA. They lack finishers but Stephen Curry is doing a nice job so far. They beat some really good teams so far and came so close against elite teams in the opening week. Curry's stats are fine, Golden State is going to be a contender if they maintain this form and if they actually beat a top team Stephen Curry will rise in our famous race and Chris Duhon the main topic of this entry will approve it for sure.

NUMBER EIGHT

Paul Pierce 18.1 PPG | 4.1 RPG | .601 % FG | over 50% from beyond the arc
So far Paul Pierce has been the main guy in the clutch and he’s been shooting the lights out. He isn’t in the top 5 because the Celtics aren’t the 1st or 2nd seed. His poise and pateince on offense makes him very special as defenses really cannot keep up with suck savvynes and veteran knowledge. His performance against Denver was astonishing and in Miami he had a really good performance. He will rise up if the Celtics climb up the standings for sure.

NUMBER NINE

Deron Williams 12.1 PPG | 3.5 PPG | 10.2 APG | 1.0 SPG | .462 FG% | .357 3P%
The first point guard of the Brooklyn era for the Nets. The guy that’s been picked by Prokhorov and Jay Z. So far he’s playing well, averaging a double double, shooting solid from the field and the three. But some think he needs to get more aggressive. Chris Paul (NOLA) aggressive. And one flaw is sometimes he turns the ball over a lot and sometimes he misses a lot of shots and it results in a That’s why he is at no.8 spot so far. Developing his aggressiveness, his stock raises in #R2MVP.

NUMBER TEN

Dwyane Wade 16.0 PPG | 3.4 RPG | 4.8 APG | 1.2 SPG | .645 FG % / Kevin Garnett 14.7 PPG | 6.1 RPG | .657%
For the first time in #R2MVP history we have 2 players sharing a spot. And this is the last but not least spot of this weeks entry. So why they share it? Simply because they're both big contributors to their teams. Dwyane is been posting some terrific numbers on the offensive floor but he can't get more than the 10th spot. Same goes for KG, his FG is sky rocking, but he's in limited minutes so he can be fresh for the playoffs. So the 10th spot is just right.
#SignatureWins: Wade 24 pts -5 ast - 4 stl vs TWolves
Garnett 17 pts - 7rebs - 4ast vs Lakers

#HonorableMention:
Terrence Ross (too many CPU games, didn't make the cut), Chris "The Main Topic" Duhon, Kevin Durant (lack of games), Dirk Nowitzki (lack of games) , Dwight Howard, Kobe Bryant (for both Lakers, we need some statement wins against human teams to get you in #R2MVP), Lamarcus Aldridge (you'll see why next week Russ )

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So this is the end of the first week (if you even bothered reading the whole stuff, just remember that Chris Duhon is the best ever and he will always be the main topic of this blog, the other stuff about #R2MVP you could care less IMO), for those who were wondering where is the GM/COTY award? It's too early to put that in description, so we'll wait for the All Star break so we can have some clues. Thanks to Vince we have fresh stats. Till next time, stay safe ISBA, we'll be back for more next Friday.

Video being blocked in Germany is a big deal. We have two coaches there. LeBron crying

Rondo way overrated on this list. Against me he did nothing and Terry played equal time at PG as he did. Doc Rivers

I applaud the effort. It took extensive research.
