Figured I might as well start my thread. The Indiana Pacers. I don't really have anything to say now.

My number one goal is to upload at least one replay in the first season. And maybe figure out what to do with expiring Granger and Stephenson. Find a way to extend PG24 before we enter offseason. Hit a 3 with Hibbert. That's about it.

Day 1 recap
- Overtime loss at Cleveland. A terrible game offensively. Still trying to figure out how to shoot and who can do what. Defense seemed ok, other than Bynum scoring turnaround jumpers from 15ft like he's Dirk.

- I've contacted DJ White, and offered him a solid contract. The ball is in his court. Resisted the urge to contact Buike/Ty.Thomas/CDR/Duhon or any other player I always seemed to have on my roster in past.

- Roy Hibbert seems to have conditioning issues. He barely managed to play 1/2 of the season opener. Slider change is expected to happen soon.

- Rookie SF Solomon Hill was mistakenly subbed in at PG during the game because I thought that he was George Hill. He did a good job.

- All three players with expiring contracts - Paul George, Lance Stephenson & Danny Granger are still listed as "Undecided" whether they want to sign a new contract or not. George says that he wants to enter free agency, while Granger says that he wants a new deal done in near future. I couldn't be bothered to check what 'Born Ready' wants.

- Uploaded replay count: 0

- Record: 0-1, last in East.

It's probably best for you that the game doesn't have Paul George signing his extension. You'll get him cheaper now IMO. No way in hell Granger is back.

I'll wait a month or two of season to see if they want to resign and what are my options. Lance and Granger might have value for someone else looking to free some cap and lose longer contracts, and PG is restricted FA either way.

Indiana will figure it out in the coming weeks, top 4 seed in the East IMO...

PG will sign, it happened to me with CP3 on 2k12 and then he resigned...

It doesn't matter what he wants, as restricted free agent he has to resign. I can match anything if it comes to that.

You disappointed in the cpu or generally 2k?

Defensive awareness is awful. I've set help defense/double team to 0 and deny ball to Kevin Martin and Brewer. Brewer shot 5 consecutive 3's wide open in the corner on set defense.

Preset Fatigue is awful. I spend every possesion subbing in and out people. Hibbert can't play more than 17 minutes and West more than 18 min unless I keep them in with 1 or 2 bars. They lose a energy bar every possesion. I don't think I ever had to make do many subs like in these games.
I play the same as always so it's not like last year I could play and now I'm holding turbo 24/7.

Other than that it's awesome.

They just overhelp, I hate it sometimes, I agree, but oh well, if there's no glitches we can live with it...

Could you tweak anything withthe sliders so it works? Could you make help D better?

I'll have to check what sliders are even there.

Day 3 recap


- Beat both Clippers and T'wolves after finishing strong last 3-4 min of each game.

- Sliders worked. Finally.

- Ready to play some people after 5 CPU games. I think I learned somewhat to shoot.

- Lance Stephenson is being phased out of rotation. He can go assault women somewhere else. No need for Pacers to be in another Malice at the Palace situation because of a piss poor player.

- Solomon Hill, that sneaky bastard, played again as PG for a minute. Again scored in his small role. Most effective player ever.

- A front office research showed that Danny Granger asks around 6.5 mil $ yearly for his new contract. Stephenson would be satisfied with a contract in 3.5-3.8 mil $ range. No data on George as he has his real life extension in latest roster update.

- Record - 3-2, in playoffs.

I'm glad to see Hibbert has worked himself back into basketball shape. Now the Pacers can move forward and accomplish all their goals.

smh @ playing 5 cpu games so far. My controller wouldn't have lasted the weekend.

I enjoy playing CPU.

Numbers don't match for Stephenson and Vesely. Lance has I think 900k salary and Vesely 3.5 million.

Stephenson's contract matches the salaries of minimum players or low first round picks.
I'm looking at guys like Glen Rice Jr., Reggie Bullock, Marquis Teague (CPU Bulls), Perry Jones 3, Jared Cunningham. Most should be easily tradeable because of rating advantage, other than Teague. There's no way to contact his team.

- The trade that was supposed to bring Jan Vesely to Indiana is off and there's 'zero chance' negotiations will re-open.

- Pacers front office is working on a deal that might bring in one of most underrated players in the whole league. Players name is being kept secret because there's fear that the rumors might turn this into another Buike's Indecision. Larry Bird said that he won't shy away from giving away picks if needed. Offline association testing is still scheduled to happen before the offer is presented to NBA's board of governors.

- DJ White apparently rejected the 1 year 1.25 million dollar offer. He's still weighing in between staying in the NBA or going overseas. Pacers have sent a new 1.6 million offer and that is believed to be the final offer for former Hoosier star.

- If White rejects the second offer, there are 3 or 4 names on the shortlist that fit in the 'big man with soft touch' crtiteria.

- There have been talks about bringing in another point guard if Lance Stephenson is traded and CJ Watson continues with below average games. Diante Garrett seems to be that player.

I wanted to sign Diante Garett so very bad but I had to contain myself.

Last year DJ White couldn't make it to the 4 min mark (5 total) without having the Gatorade symbol under him (no exaggeration)

Hibbert can play 22-24 min now. DJ doesn't even need to play more than 3 min. There's Hibbert, Scola, West and Copeland & Granger can fill PF.

- DJ White and Diante Garrett have signed one year deals. New Pacers CPU coach can be happy, he has two more names in rotation.

- The game against computer controlled Chicago Bulls ended up in a loss for Indiana. Pretty awesome situation for everyone involved.

- Record 3-3. Replay count - none attempted lately because photos don't even work.
