| Welcome to the official team thread of the Brooklyn Nets. Edit: Video blocked worldwide This thread is a place for you to share an experience with fellow coaches and get an inside look into the ISBA Nets. The 29 game schedule is particularly exciting for me and the opportunity to coach KG and PP is a real honor as we finish our careers in style together. They will be retiring soon and I'll be heading to NBA Live etc. |

| I've talked about having unique substitution patterns with this team and that will be the plan as we start the season. Our starting five will play nearly the entire first quarter, then a new group will play the 2nd quarter. The 3rd quarter will likely be the same as the 1st quarter lineup and then whoever is playing the best will finish the final 5 minutes. The beauty of this is nobody except perhaps Deron Williams will have the opportunity to play more than 24-26 minutes so we'll keep things fair and balanced. We have enough talent to spread it around.
Opening Day starting 5:
Deron Williams Joe Johnson AK47 Kevin Garnett Andray Blatche
2nd unit:
Tyshawn Taylor Jet Terry Paul Pierce Mirza Teletovic Brock Lopez
We're going to play fairly slow with the 1st unit and uptempo with the 2nd unit. Should make for an interesting dynamic. I see a lot of guys who can excel in this system.

| Nets Go 0-2 on Road Trip Screenshots couldn't even upload ffs
The veteran Nets took to the road to start the season, first to Oklahoma City to take on the Thunder. This game featured many highs and lows with the Nets falling behind routinely by 7-9 points and then getting back into the game with a run. They couldn't get over the hump and eventually lost. Jeremy Lamb led the way with 20 points. KG and Lopez led the Brooklyn effort with 23 and 19 points respectively.
In the 2nd game the Nets took the floor in the Q to face the resurgent Andrew Bynum and his Cavs. Bynum was dominant from start to finish and proved to be too much for the Nets. Brooklyn had great balance but not enough to contain the 52 PIP from Cleveland.
Coach Bryan post game comments
It's fun to get ambushed by the cpu. We played OK in both games but its tough to accurately gauge things against NBA Street game play. The substitution patterns worked reasonably but tweaks need to be made. I look forward to seeing how we do in a human game. We have Vince, Leroy, and SPC first up.
Brooklyn is 0-2 but 10-7 after a rash of CPU sims from Coach Bryan. It appears Adam Silver will force his hand and reset most of them. Oh well etc |

| Brooklyn Picks Up Two Wins CPU win over ATL, sim win over Blazers Kevin Garnett refuses to go quietly into the nightNews and Notes: Brooklyn is 2-2 on the season after the sim win over Blazers and win over CPU Atlanta. The Nets have yet to play a home game (Blazers sim was home but I didn't play it) Leroy's pro tip failed but Bounce's defensive tip seemed to work well KG is averaging 17 and 8 so far this season. Proving he's got plenty left in the tank. DWill can't dribble Crax dodged me today and basically lied to me. He feared me after my meltdown earlier imo |

Is there any hope we get that intro Dream Job video re-uploaded somewhere else. Or you could upload it on some file sharing site and I'll make it bypass all copyrights? |

| Brooklyn Picks Up Two Wins on FridayHuman win over Philly, CPU win over PacersKG and Pierce came up big in both wins todayThe day started with a heart-breaking OT defeat to the CPU Memphis Grizzlies. A loss that had Bryan questioning the purpose of life but things got better as the Nets defeated Philly and Indiana to close the day out. Balance was the word for Brooklyn against Philly, while KG dominated against the Pacers with 35 points, 12 rebounds, and 4 assists. Paul George was cheesing with 32 points but it wasn't enough. Brooklyn is 4-4 on the season. |

| Nets Fall to Bucks Without DWillPG broke his arm against Wizards, out 2 gamesDeron Williams magically got hurt in the Wizards sim. Fuck 2k SportsThe Nets played without their franchise PG and fell to the Milwaukee Bucks by 11 points in Barclay's Center on Saturday morning. Tyshawn Taylor got the start at PG and played admirably with 12 pts, 8 asts, and 4 rebs but OJ Mayo and Luke Ridnour were too much for the Nets, who now stand 5-5 for the season. KG led the Nets with 20 points. Deron Williams is expected to miss 1 more additional game and not fully be healthy for another 3-4 games. This is a key stretch for the Nets and not the time for an injury. |

| Brooklyn to Shake Up Starting Line-UpReggie Evans in, Blatche outThe Nets are desperate for rebounding at this junctureAfter getting beat on the boards AGAIN by the Bucks, Coach Bryan has decided to shake his starting 5 up for the first time all year with the addition of Reggie Evans and the subtraction of Andray Blatche. It's uncertain if Evans or KG will play center but it was determined that Blatche has been worthless in his minutes and a change was needed. |

| Nets Overcome Slow Start, Defeat DenverTyshawn Taylor recorded 11 assists in place of DWillReggie Evans played well in his first startThe Brooklyn Nets were down most of the first half but a strong 3rd quarter propelled the struggling Nets to a critical road win over Denver. Brooklyn played without Deron Williams for the 2nd straight game as he recovers from a broken arm. Reggie Evans made his first start of the year and contributed 2 pts, 5 rebs, and 2 asts in 13 minutes. KG and Lopez led the way in scoring and toughness. Brooklyn is 6-5 on the season. |

| Brooklyn Mid-Season UpdateJoe Johnson has been quite good for the Nets this seasonAfter 14 games the Brooklyn Nets sit at .500 with a record of 7-7. The Good: -Tyshawn Taylor has stepped up with DWill missing time due to injury and has proven to be a legit NBA rotational player. -Kevin Garnett has been one of the best players in the league this season averaging 19 and 7. -Brock Lopez and Paul Pierce have accepted their bench roles and played very well. -The Nets have been ultra competitive in user games. The Bad: -Deron Williams missed 2 games and has been limited in 2 additional ones. -Andray Blatche hasn't found his groove this season on either end of the floor. -Brooklyn has lost 4 CPU games already this season. The Ugly: -One of the worst rebounding teams in the league. -Mirza Teletovic started strong but went through a horrible shooting slump. -No financial freedom to make ANY moves. |

| I've offered Diante Garrett 2.21 mil + Team Option. That's the exact salary Livingston & Anderson make combined.
(the proposed time is maybe 30-60min too early for me) |
