Well, it's been awhile, huh? Indeed it has. Welcome to a special edition of Weekly Roundtable. I'm your humble host for this edition. It's my pleasure to be joined by Ante and Bounce today for this once in a lifetime event. I would like to give a shout-out to our sponsor for this week, KLFM community radio in Split, Croatia. For the best music and talk in Croatia, check out KLFM at KLFM.org or on Twitter @KL_FM
Let's get to the topics, shall we?
The Roundtable trio hanging out and sharing stories about how cool Crax is1. Your Vote for MVP at the all-star break would be?Ante: Damian Lillard. WCF contender? Check. Stats? Check. Chucker? Check. Do you need more of an MVP? Swag? Check.
Bryan: I think Steph Curry was the clear #1 contender before his coach bailed, now it's wide open. KG has an outside shot if I finish strong. DRose has a shot. My guess is it will be a player from a CPU team. LeBron is never a bad bet.
Bounce: Steph Curry. From human teams - Dame Lillard, whoever Houston's best player is, or Kevin Garnett.
2. Thoughts on Bounce switching teams midseason?Bounce: I don't remember that happening.
Ante: I don't know why he switched, good luck in JCole land I guess.
Bryan: It is what it is. His last game with GSW was against me so that must mean something. No idea what that would be but I'll pray on it and see if I figure it out.
3. More Impressive: Crax tank job in Philly or Ante's inability to win without CP3?Bryan: Both very impressive to me but Crax has managed his tank impressively. He's basically been in position to win nearly every human game he's played but managed to lose nearly everyone of them. Ante can't win without CP3. That's not breaking news.
Ante: First off all I was quite inactive this season for my standards. Second of all my season was ruined by cpu and Eric Gordon and my interest dropped down quite a bit, but there's no excuses. But now I won two cpu games, since the trade I'm 5-2. 11-12 on the year, one game behind Minnesota which I got on my schedule. So don't worry I'll play Vince in the first round and beat the shit out of him #ShotsThrown
Bounce: Crax tanking with Sixers. The other situation was already seen before, but tanking is a first. Crax could've easily made the playoffs because CPU isn't that good and he had to hold himself back in most close human games. Hope he gets the first pick and real basketball returns to Philly.
4. Contender or Pretender: Washington, Portland, HoustonBounce: Washington is a pretender because their roster isn't very good. They have 2.5 good players and rest are randoms from free agent pool. Other two teams are contenders.
Ante: All pretenders, CPU Clippers for the win.
Bryan: All three are capable of winning a championship. Vince has won a ring before so I would have Portland as the best contender of that group. Leroy is playing well and is the best player here. If he can make the playoffs and hold the CPU to under 100 in the playoffs he's got a great chance. Houston is a big unknown at this juncture.
5. Ante's future: Radio Personality or Basketball playerBounce: Probably radio personality if I had to guess.
Bryan: I dunno man...I need to see him play basketball against players better than 40 overall before I assess his future in basketball. His broadcasting debut was lovely. He fed off his co-host nicely. They might have a dynasty brewing on KLFM.
Ante: Basketball player ffs.
