I listened to a couple of the non bangers off cole's album... not bad but considering high expectations: garbage

Listen to it, from top to bottom, the shit is legendary, he spits his soul to ya, his life, autobiography whatever you wanna call it in 13 songs...From adolescence to hollywood, to real cole...

I'm not gonna be a thief and I will listen to it on release date

First impressions: really really really boring typical cole shit outside of a couple songs. Outside of those few songs, there's nothing I can relate to and they're boring as shit so what's the point?

I love the album, and the video for the song Apparently, this is the best shit I've heard since Pinata from Freddie...

You can't relate because Cole grew up differently than you did, I can relate to a lot of those songs...

I've had similar life issues as Cole and I parallel his struggle for success in music with my basketball...I can get that some people call it boring, the overall impressions on the internet are GOAT/boring

I'm excited for new Nicki's album...

So far the songs I like are Wet Dreans & Adolescence. I can tolerate a few others like gomd & fire squad, but if it was up to me, I'd never listen to them again

That review seems pretty accurate. Slow as molasses is an understatement. I see people can relate to it but I don't at all. I relate more to a YG album than this lol. Except for the few songs I like (and I like them because I can relate)

Here's my problem with cole: drake spits his heart out. NONE of the songs on his album (NWTS) were club hits. NONE of those songs hit hard production wise. But everyone loved it. It was emotional and if took you threw his love life... Which is cheesy as hell

Why is cole missing this crossover appeal? Drake isn't trying and he gets it

One of the most boring produced albums of all time.. Actually no, it IS the most boring & worst produced album of all time. He wanted slow beats but that doesn't mean it has to be THIS bad. Look at Next To It by lupe fiasco. VERY slow song with great production. Why can't he do that?

Lyricsm: 5/10

Meh he was rhyming some dumb basic shit. His ability to tell stories in rhymes is what is good about him

Replay value: 4/10

I don't have any reason to listen to this anymore outside of a couple songs I like. I don't need to listen to a story about himself more than once. No one cares brah. We just wanna relate or be happy with good beats. You brought neither cole

Iggy is pretty big here on the radio. But the radio is a disgrace. Our (LA) hip hop station plays mainly pop. It's awful. As if hip hop doesn't have enough crossover appeal already, they had to change it completely to appeal to little kids.
