Do you use verticality contest? I find that way you get a lot more block animations and less fouls, mostly use block on weak side and chasedown kind. But I agree jumpshot fouls are bs, no control over it, random af.

Jumpshots are clearly random as fuck, I agree, but they've said that in a gameplay interview weeks ago that players have a certain mentality before the game, similar to hot and cold streaks, so a player can be "cold" at tip off and if he misses a couple it's going to be hard to make another jumpshot etc...

I use hands up/verticality which really suits this game on post and people driving the ball etc...

Had some ranked games yesterday and today, retarded ppl etc. Had one decent game...

My strategy always is - miss your 1st 2 open shots? Benched for rest of game


The problem isn't the shot contests, it's the fact that I get sucked into foul animations. Nothing I can do when that happens. And it happens A LOT

And pro tip/secret - celtics are the best team in 2k currently (that will change). Don't let the fags with cavs and OKC get you down, because the game is random no matter what... Which is kinda a contradiction saying any team is the best

So 2k adjusted the shooting percentages - this game is still bullshit

Now instead of both teams missing 3s, only one will miss them. Game is pretty much rigged from the start and if it's not in your favor you have to fight REALLY hard to get a win.

But it's better like this, just cause at least it makes sense. Open 3s go in, contested ones still don't (unless the game wants you to lose). It's pretty much 2k15 all over again

Now the terrible transition defense REALLY stands out. That has to be fixed ASAP


Also random note cause this just happened and it pissed me off - why the fuck are all of KCP's plays designed pick and rolls? What jackoff designed these playbooks?!

He's the only player that resembles a off ball/screen shooter on the entire roster but, "lol lets give him pick and rolls. No off ball screens"

I did play one more game in euroleague cause the players there are fucking trash. I had an experiment. The entire game, I was going to run a broken play that guarantees an open 3pt shot EVERY time.

I was using Brad Beal for this experiment. I ended up getting the wide open 3 13 times in one game with him.

He was 4-13

I'm not even playing v people online till they adjust fastbreak defence and completely broken halfcourt coverage.
