Welcome to the Official Revamp Franchise Thread of the Denver Nuggets. After a successful season with Philadelphia it was time to pack bags and fly to Colorado. Iggy waited on the airport and we hugged.
First game was a tough one against Utah.

Utah took advantage of an unexperienced Nuggets team and cruised to the victory. Andre Igoudala led Nuggets with 20 points. 0-1
Post game it was announced that JaVale McGee (0 points) and Anthony Randolph (1 point) were traded to Golden State for center Andrew Bogut. Bogut is expected to arrive in Denver some time today and after consulting with team doctors we'll get an insight on the status of Andrew's injured ankle and determine when will his Mile High debut happen.
Fingers crossed that either K-Mart or Birdman sign. Ideal case would be both.

Day 2
Your Denver Nuggets (Not on the photo: Hamilton, Miller, Brewer, Fournier, Mozgov, Koufos).
Nothing spectacular happened yesterday in the Nuggets world, a pair of sim W's and a pair of W's against CPU.
Nuggets signed free agent Kenyon Martin (4mil/1yr). K-Mart returns to Denver after spending 7 seasons playing in the Pepsi Center from '04 to '11. The much anticipated trade was approve early this morning.
JaVale McGee & Anthony Randolph went the other way. Bogut is expected to make his debut later today.

Quest for 100
Andrew Bogut in his Nuggets debut.
Nuggets played three more CPU games last night. The games were blowouts for the most part and the most intriguing stories were Andrew Bogut in his first games in Denver, and teams attempt to score 100 points (something I haven't done in Season 1 or so far in Forever, not counting the #BoardwalkClassic).

In other news, all 14 players on the roster got at least few minutes on the court and here is the take on bench players: - Wilson Chandler - He's the 6th man and gets 20+ minutes per game. B+ - Andre Miller - The veteran is excelling in his backup PG role and plays well even though age caught up to him. B - Kenyon Martin - The 34 year old finds himself mostly backing up Bogut and still brings high energy in every possession. B+ - Jordan Hamilton - He took his chance and used it well so he's the regular part of the rotation. Still lacks in certain departments but I had zero expectations so he's great. B+ - Quincy Miller - Another interesting player who maybe hasn't had a lot of chance to play but still showed a lot of promise. C+ - Corey Brewer - NCAA's 2007 MOP has terrible ratings, without being at least average in any single category. Doesn't play much. C- - Timofey Mozgov - Didn't show anything, play time minimal, glad his contract is expiring. D - Kosta Koufos - Same as Mozgov, only he has a 2+1 contract. Terrible. D- - Evan Fournier - If there was something like D-League (btw. where did D-League and Jake Robinson go?), he would spend a season there. D
There were some rumors about Nuggets front office trying to trade for Chris Duhon, and apparently they offered a contract to former Texas Longhorn Damion James. It's unclear what would be his role with both forward positions so crowded.

Jordan Hamilton has impressed Steve Hess. Lovely.
I'm glad 2k13 took out the fake D-League players from free agency. Jake Robinson was an epic three point douche and there was another 7'4 guy that people always picked up but this is more realistic.
The Nugs will hit 100. It would be a reasonable accomplishment against this CPU.

Steve Hess and Hamilton do this every morning, he took over the Birdman's spot (arguably the greatest NBA-related YouTube video ever)

I knew who Steve Hess since I follow the Nuggets a lot every year...
I hope I don't meet this team in the playoffs since this bench would rape my bench...

Sweet.
I got a notification e-mail that through my Twitter account I'm portraying someone I am not (Steve Hess) and that they will decide shortly whether they will make me change name or terminate my profile or sth.

Serious Business & Dancers Contest
Bang! Bang!
@CPU_Hess had some legal troubles so I had to change the Twitter handle. That didn't affect my on court performance and Nuggets cracked 100 point mark, two times in a row.
So far, Iguodala is Nuggets leading scorer with 20 points per game, while Bogut averages 17 points & 7 rebounds, and Ty Lawson 17 points and 7 assists.
Also Corey Brewer is being traded to Portland for former Duke Blue Devil Nolan Smith. That trade is happening within 12 hours.
While we are waiting for real news and games against other users, here is the ever-popular cheerleader contest. Let's crown the queen of Rockies.
Vote in the poll above.

Agreed. IRL is sounds trashy and stupid. On the internet is sounds decent. Only if you type the abbreviated term "fgt" instead of the actual word "faggot." Again, the full word looks bad.
I voted for Casey. She has that girl next door look to her. Plus I adore brunettes.

I assume that someone has to report you, probably the person whose name you use. Then Twitter sends a note that my account is using a name of a person that isn't me and gives me the option to change name (which I did), keep the name but tweak it so its @NotSteveHess, @SteveHessFan (which is lame) or they will suspend my account.
Nate wasn't reported because Nate doesn't have Twitter and its not like I stole the name or sth (for crying out loud my accounts were @CPU_Nate or whatever, I never saw a real celebrity use CPU_JayZ as their handle)

In what was a grueling contest over last 36h, we have a winner:
Emily took the lead early on and never looked back.
Congrats to Emily, here's a short retrospective of her career as Denver Nuggets Dancer. #Dig_In!
Tune in tomorrow for next entry of the Denver Nuggets 2012/13 season coverage.

lol @ the background soundtrax. Felt like I was listening to sports talk radio for a second. I forgot how to input sound into the thread. I tried but I'm missing a step. I think there's a tutorial at old forum I need to find.
