The usual arguement I see is the "wtf is he talking about" arguement, which is always brought up by emos & potheads, therefore that arguement is invalid

I've never hid the fact I love romantic movies so no issue there. I probably should love this guy tbh but I don't. Then again I don't love any music at this juncture of all junctures so its not a personal attack on him.

No matter what I'd say or what songs I'd list (I had a list of sappy songs prepared for you, it was 6 or 7 deep) it wouldn't matter. You'd still think I was a dipshit for suggesting Ocean was too emotional. Sometimes you need to pick battles worth picking and IMO this one would be a lost cause for me.

I'd say half of his songs are lovey emotional & the other half are those weird 1700's poet type works that need a literary analyst to explain what he's trying to say etc

most of these are fine songs but overkill IMO. We get it, you're emotional and love sick. Point taken. I'm sure there's plenty of other songs out there too. I'm not saying the guy should sing about sniffing coke off a hookers back but lets go.

I can agree with some of those being very emotional (especially hardest thing, sweet jesus calm down bro), but Lost & Thinking About You aren't too excessive imo. Thinking About You is sooo dumbed down & obvious/relatable & I don't find Lost too emo.

I think Sweet Life shows more emotion than both, but it's one of those perfect balance songs imo. Possibly the most relaxing song ever & my personal fave.

If you're looking for a Frank Ocean song about drugs & hookers, listen to Pyramids. Great song unique instrumental, happy stuff (for the most part lol, video gets kinda weird).
