Crax, I figured you would have played the Assassin's Creed that came out last fall. You raved about the previous one when I'd make fun of you for playing it late into the night. 

The Last of Us looks solid. The girl sidekick looks like Ellen Page. Speaking of her, she's doing voice/character work in another game I saw during E3.#Random

I'm done buying PS3 games except BF4 IMO. And even that I might try to get out of.

Assassins creed is the same shit every year, but with different characters and maps, can't be bothered with it tbh, I mean they release a game and a month later theres a trailer for the next one. Once companies start releasing sequels every year, or sometimes even twice in a year, it curtains imo. Enough to look at sports games and cod, tells you plenty.

Bah Gawd Crax! I had no idea The Last of Us exists. That's the perfect game. If I skip on PS4 I'll definitely get it for the Summer.

Ellen Page and Willem Dafoe are in Beyond: Two Souls, a new game from Quantic Dream, the creators of Heavy Rain.

The multiplayer mode for The Last of Us looks fresh and different imo, but it also looks like a short term amusement.

Totally agree, AC2 was the best in the series, I played it so much i've earned Platinum trophy. Turkey one was just lame. I gave up after that.

Can someone tell me why everyone likes the last of us? I get the story but what's so cool and fun about the gameplay? Is it free roam sandbox type gta shit? Is it an rpg?

Ellen Page has some kind of telekinetic powers, and/or is accompanied by a ghost, is recruited by the Army and it's played as Heavy Rain. That can't sound awful.

And on top of that, Willem Dafoe is in the game.

Beyond: Two Souls & The Last Of Us.

Yea see that's my issue with knowing bout this game. I never played heavy rain not did I care to watch a gameplay video on it. 

So as you can tell I'm very lost as to how this game is played. Story & voice acting & presentation looks great

That Beyond game is just like Heavy Rain, interactive movie basically. 

Last of us is more like Resident Evil from the looks of things.

Heavy Rain was a big disappointment for me. Felix was pimping the shit out of it so I figured I'd give it a try. Interactive movie is a fair description. It wasn't terrible or anything but it wasn't worth 60 dollars US. Only good thing is I finished it relatively quick (like 1 month) and was able to get rid of it for decent value.
