| So much happened:
- Bogut & one of two lesser parts of the #FutureCore is a bargain.
- Detroit to overpay Josh Smith. I assume Charlie Villanueva & Ben Gordon situations were erased from collective memory in Detroit.
- Tanking for one or two years > Being a perennial 6th seed without any upside (UPSIDE!). Someone should remind Ainge that they spent a good part of last 20 years tanking.
They have one good player, Rondo and a 6th man in Green. Rest is just role players who would play 15 mins on a real team. Not surprised, Ainge is Vinny del Negro of GM's.
- Being a player friendly coach hardly makes anyone elite. If that's the case, then Mo Cheeks is the second coming of Phil Jackson. Doc is a step behind Pop or Carlise or some other actually good coach. Most coaches would win one title in 5 years with four future Hall of Famers.
-Bledsoe for Redick. Is there something wrong with Afflalo that they have to choose lesser players instead?
- Beans > Jordan. Both Michael & Deandre. |

| Pelicans name/colors/logo/court are awful. I imagine their jerseys will be Eastern All Stars rip-off as well. Incredible how hard they have fallen appearance wise from New Orleans Hornets to this crap. |

Although I do like the Smith signing. Best SF available, very versatile player, can give 12 stamina Montoe a break @ PF, there's enough shooting on the floor with KCP & BK etc |

| Josh played quite a bit @ SF last year when Horford started bitching that he's a 4. Pistons are putting all their eggs in BK's basket. If Caldy comes back & starts, then there's obviously no place for Smith to start, but it seems like they're gonna let him go... Or maybe just have him ride the bench Smith, Monroe, Drummond is the best front court at this juncture imo. Just tell fatty Greg to spend some VC on stamina. He maxes out at 25 imo |

| No, in 2009 KG got hurt (season ending knee injury) before playoffs (4-3 2nd round exit vs Orlando who went to finals), well, in 2010 Perk got hurt in game 5 and ref job in game 7 with LA in finals, in 2011 Rondo got hurt in game 3 of the ecsf, he dislocated his elbow, they won game 3 and he was the best player of the team who played with one hand in the next two games, in 2012 Avery got hurt and Ray who had fucked up ankles guarded DWade and the refs f'd up game 2 so...And in 2013 ACL injury to Rondo...How many coaches would've won more titles with these kind of injuries?
I rest my case for Doc...Too many injuries to go through and he still made very good things... |

| A good coach (Pop) would rest his team 40 games into season and just cruise on autopilot to playoffs. Not good ol' Glenn, who played everyone like they are 21 and don't have 10+ seasons in them. |

| Josh Smith at 3 is a trainwreck. He'd just brick those long twos all day long.
So apparently Dwight was enamored with the phone call from Jack Nicholson, but didn't care for Hakeem being at the Rockets' meeting. And he said he only cares about winning. smh who the hell knows where he'll end up, idiot changes his opinion every second |

| Well then you clearly don't know about KG's 5 5 5 5 plan in last 2-3 seasons, and freak injuries don't matter how many minutes you play, ACL's, dislocated elbows, torn cartilage in knee, fucked up kneecap, dislocated elbow, I mean cmon now, what are we talking about? Doc never played his old vets too much, never... How can anyone control those types of injuries...The Celtics crusied to the playoffs since 2009-2010, everyone writes them off before the all star break and boom they make a run... Y'all just don't like good ol' Glenn and can't admit that no coach would've done a better job with these nutjobs in Green... N-o-b-o-d-y |

There's no reason to intentionally hate a random coach in the NBA. I'm not emotionally attached to him in any way.

| #Dwight2Wiz2013 Josh Smiths shooting isn't appreciated He's a fine shooter, he will knock down open shots anywhere with ease. His time with ATL isn't a good way to judge his shooting ability since he was the only option, frustrated, settled for jumpers out of frustration, jacking etc |

| Yes that's terrible but.. #life Horford was out most of the year, Zaza missed like the last 3/5ths of the season, resident chucker Lou Dub missed the season, Devin Harris & Jeff Teague were @ PG ( ), no more JJ to "carry the load" (lol), they were basically the Bobcats + Josh Smiff You know he wants to take initiative & with no help, you're gonna get results like that while trying to be a scorer @ the C/PF position (and SF when everyone was healthy, which was when it worked) Morale of the story: Lefties > |

| 2008-09 season: 30% on jump shots 2009-10: 29% 2010-11: 34% 2011-12: 32%
I'd say last year's averages are a fairly accurate portrayal of his shooting deficiencies. Embarrassing for us lefties, but he is who he is. |

| I would agree that Doc Rivers isn't elite. Rick Carlisle and Pop are clearly superior to him IMO. Both of those guys have shown much more consistency over the years. Doc has some real shitty seasons mixed into his resume. Basically a .500 tenure 4+ years with Orlando and then really bad in Boston until the Big 3 arrived. Once the Big 3 arrived he did a nice job through plenty of adversity. My only regret for Doc is 2010. They should have beat the Lakers in those Finals, regardless of Perkins getting injured. If they win that finals that's two titles and then he's in the elite category. I'd have Doc in the top 5-6 of current coaches. I don't expect sudden greatness for the Clippers just because he's there now. Blake and DeAndre are such a piss poor combo that it wouldn't matter who was coaching. Both are nice players but one guy can't play in the 4th because of his 1 ft range and 20 % FT shooting and the other doesn't trust himself and only wants to attack the rim in a panic.
Josh Smith @ SF would be highly entertaining. I love a good chucker. Good for Detroit trying to overpay a fringe all-star. That usually works out well.
smh @ the Clippers trying to use Bledsoe to acquire OJ Mayo now. I'm so tired of Bledsoe being used as a trade piece. He's not that good ffs. Clippers parade him around like he's LeBron fucking James.

| So with Iggy possibly leaving Denver, and Dwight obviously leaving LA, is it safe to say that Orlando won the 4-way trade? - Bynum, Jrich - - Dwight, Clark, Chris Duhon - - Iguodala - :steph2: - Moe Harkless, Nikola Vucevic, Arron Afflalo, Al Harrington, protected first round picks from each team, and a second round pick from Denver. |
