200 shots a day isn't bad. I prob take like 500 whenever I play lol. I have shootarounds/typical practices for 4 hours or so. Only about 4 days a week tho

So we shot 23% as a team, missed everything, I was 3/16 from the field, layups that I make just fell out of the rim, it was ridiculous...I can't remember a game where I've missed so many shots that I make with my eyes closed...I had zero turnovers and 6 assists 6 rebounds and 6 points and 5 steals...Physically I felt great!

And in 8 mins when I was on the bench, their best player scored 18 points, while I was guarding him he scored 2...I've played great defense ...

lolgtfo, he's 6'5-6'6 and 210 lbs...strength>

Jeez lol well at least you got that game out of the way. That'll happen a lot but by keeping your head in the game you can do well in every other aspect outside of scoring

Scoring is the only part of basketball that's random and inconsistent imo everything else is just effort and the consistency will be there

it was a long time ago, I started in 2002, when AI was the shit, but I've fell in love with basketball then, so basically the love for the game motivated me, I love those 4 lines, the sound of the net, the ball, the sneakers, the crowd, the oohs and aahs, everything man, but, until that one point when you gain confidence like, man I can be great at this was when I was 13, I had my first 20+ point game...Then HS came, when I was 17-18 a lot of naysayers said, too small, no jumpshot from the three etc...

Can't play at this/that level, not ready, the usual crap...

I overcame all that and the extra motivation were those guys who said that shit, every time that I'm in doubt of doing an extra sprint and shit, I remember those words and I just aaahhhh kill it, when they hit you, you just hit back, but love is the main reason, those fellas just give me the extra umph...I just want to be prepared, thinking about how someone is working hard as I am and I just gotta push harder because it's me, it's in my blood, my mother is so hard working man, I've got it from her...

Ah so you had the moment of realization when you were 13? And then everything else was else was to prove people wrong lol. At that point the motivation is simple and easy imo
