I think it's partially torn, It happened like a month or 2 ago but it keeps coming back. The swelling and pain is gone and I have full motion of my thumb but I can't grab things like I used to. And if I get hit, I get the same pain I did as when I initially fucked it up
And that happens often bc it's the dominant hand
I hate having vain reasons to be motivated but it's all I got. I'm gonna get in bball shape just to be a douche That the new motivation lol

I'm the first target for this A-1 team, we will play them tomorrow so their coach gets a close look etc. So any advice Leroy for that scrimmage? Assitsting or doing everything?

Basically a tryout for A-1?
Do everything and make sure you get to showcase everything lol. You could probably walk in there and be best player on roster so show everything you can do.
Youre most likely better than a lot of these A-1 guys, save the tryhard-ing in specific areas for when the players are better than you lol. So at this point that's Euroleague & NBA imo

I played good, didn't make some open shots, but made tough shots, odd shit...
They have the best player in the A-1 league right now
They crushed us by 40...my teammates can't play at this level, this is a top 5 team in Croatia, we got outgunned, they run perfect breaks and are in superior shape than 90% of my teammates or just have more will than they have bcuz all of us get tired, they just go through the pain like I do etc...This is a VERY GOOD team, I mean they can beat the 2 top teams in Croatia at home EASILY...They have a great shooter, like 6'6, typical euro shooter, can't miss etc...I bet they would beat the Knicks and Sixers at least once in a 7 game series...I mean fuck, these guys have games on national tv...
Their starting 5 has a lot of skill though, but their PG's are mediocre, they're solid ballhandlers, solid defenders, can't shoot like me, can't pass like me, can't dribble like me, nowhere NEAR...
I hope their coach saw that, couple of times I almost stripped their pg ala Avery Bradley, but I didn't try hard all the time, just showed some glimpses in the 2nd half...
I had a lot of crossovers where their defenders fell almost down on their butt ,I made two step back threes and one John Wall like jumper, CP3 like crossover and floater, had couple of boards, steal, 2to's in 24-25 mins and didn't have a defensive mistake...Some of their teammates know me personally because of the University games, they love me etc...
So I predict this: They call my agent, he says to me that I'll go to their facility to try in practice, I bust their asses, they bring me in, I come off the bench because politics, two scenarios unveil: 1) I get the starting job by March 2) I become Jamaal Crawford of the A-1 league and chuck
What do you predict?

God damn by 40? Lol I hope they stopped trying
Their best player looks like a huge mobile beast. Although might get chewed up by someone with superior athleticism
Since you know some guys on the team, that's probably the most crucial part of this recruitment lol. It all comes down to politics and if they put in a good word for you, you will at least get the camp invite over others
Sounds like you had a good showing, I'm sure they weren't expecting you to show up and run them off the court like you're Lebron so they're probably impressed. But if you were able to showcase everything and show that you're all around skilled, that's a guaranteed invite. Especially since you said you made the pg's look dumb lol
I think you'll get invited 100% but then you're gonna have to go hard against them to get a roster spot. Politics are strong but not stronger than skill. You'll have a period on the bench but if you really are busting their ass, there's no reason that you don't become 6th man instantly
If they really are that good, you're just gonna have to fit in with what they need. Do they need a Jamal Crawford? Be the Jamal Crawford. Do they need a CP3/Collison? Be that. You got all around skills to fit anywhere they need you
With your size the most important thing is gonna be versatility. No one wants a little shithead who's gonna chuck cause he can't do anything else lol (example: Isaiah Thomas). If you gonna chuck, you chuck cause that's what they need/want. You got the quickness to be good defender, maybe they need a Conley type of player
Point is: don't force anything lol. Awareness is important and being aware of yourself & team is the next step of the mental game

Yeah I agree...I know their best player, he's a great guy etc. I hope he makes it in the Euroleague one day...
Yeah, I should be whatever they need!
We played A-2 today, had 24 or 26, didn't check the stats, 5 assists 5 rebounds 2 steals 3to's...
Shot over 50% from field and 50% from three, and had a foul on the three, I did it Reggie/Jaamall style lol...

You trying to stat pad? Yes imo. You memorize your stats in game btw? You say 24-26 points but you didn't check stats? How do you keep track of that lol
But It's necessary when you got A-1 teams checking you out imo
How serious is the jump from A-1 to euroleague?

Nah I just want to win, I memorize the whole game, I have insane memory, its LBJ like, like I can tell every play if I try to, its crazy, I don't stat pad, I'm just in attack mode and trying to get the W, but yeah at the back of my mind is like, yo, these guys are keeping tabs, I must be aggressive...But then again when I step on to the court, its childhood fun!
I checked them, it was 24 7 5 2 3to's 70% fg 50% from the 3pt line...

I have ridiculous memory too but at some point you just kinda have to let go of the points at least lmao. Especially if you on fire or something, why even keep track
24/7/5 is great tho Being and staying all-around aggressive is good as long as you're still the best player on the floor. No one likes a little midget shit head trying to take over the game when they can't

Great
Gotta get that effeciency up now that stats are bigger part of the game. Literally every team uses advanced stats, maybe someone takes a chance on you for your effeciency
36 mins too? Longer than usual?
