Press Conference by Coach Ante after the 5th win of the season against the 76ers only on ESPN:

Q: Coach tell us your thoughts on the game and on the streak?

"We played a solid game, not so defensively, we didn't make the defensive pressure as we used to, also I think this 5-0 start is nothing, we have a lot of work in front of us to be the best team in the East."

Q: Why?

"Why? Well we face the Heat again, the Pacers, Bulls, Thunder, Rockets, Warriors twice, do I need to go on? You think that it's easy to beat those teams? Go ahead be my guest and beat them."

Q: Coach how's the atmosphere in the team generally?

"Well it's pretty good, the guys are bonding every practice, every game, every team dinner, only problem that Sully eats too much when we go out.

Q: Your thoughts on Spencer Hawes double double tonight?

"He torched us, I think we need to sign a big guy who can defend the post, Kelly is more offensive minded, Spencer is just too big for our bigs and Roy Hibbert is going to eat us alive if we don't grab a guy who is just long and can block shots and rebound.

Q: What the future holds, any trades?

"Well we are always looking to get better, if not, only thing we can control is defense, our focus, we lacked focus the last two games and defensive pressure, we must be patient as we were in these 5 games and start finishing teams off in the 3rd quarter if we have a chance to like New York and Miami, we enter in these black holes which will cost us a bigger seed"

Q: Your relationship with coach Bryan?

"Splendid, really nice guy, I wish him the best to him and his team and family."

Q: Who's your favorite in the West?

"Rockets."

Celtics beat the Sixers 60-54 in a tough, grinding game where on ball pressure was atomic. The Celtics started scorching hot on offense with Green (12 points 6 rebounds) and Jordan Crawford (at the 15 points in 12 minutes) leading the pack. The Sixers couldn't answer the Celtics defense and they scored only 20+ points in the 1st half.

The Celtics got up as many as 16 points, but then came the Philly pride, coach Bryan got these fellas playing hard ball. They run and gun after some amazing blocks from Noel and co.

They can hit threes in transition with ease, Michael Carter Williams got praised by yours only Rajon Rondo (13 points 8 assists 6/9 FG): "Oh he's a tough kid, he pressured me full court, he struggles with his shot, but he'll be a good player in this league"

The Sixers cut the lead down to 6 points and never go under that lead as the Celtics always had an answer, either Rajon Rondo takes it to the rack or knocks his medium range jumper, or Green operates the post and Crawford hits a rainbow shot.

Royce White and Nerlens Noel showed some real toughness today and made a statement that nobody comes into Wells Fargo Center and blows out Philly.

The Celtics go out and play the Spurs at home, then play a tough game in Washigton and in Oklahoma and after that they go to Zagreb to face Indiana.

ESPN reports that the Celtics traded MarShon Brooks for a 2015 Sixers 1st round pick.

ESPN also reports that the Celtics signed free agents the legendary Richard "Rip" Hamilton, Delonte West, Cole Aldrich.
