Greetings fine people of ISBA and welcome to another edition of the Roundtable. A lot has happened since we last got together for one of these. Our previous OA froze and left us in no mans land, which was lovely. Then we waited for a full week hoping it would advance to the next stage, only for it to disappoint us again. And now here we are on #Revamp back for more action. You know my panel well by now. Please welcome Ante and Bounce to the roundtable as they join me for some ISBA topics today.
The roundtable trio took in a half-marathon in Liverpool prior to the roundtable discussion1. What do you think of Paul's uncertain future due to his PS3 issue?Bryan: It's a bad situation for him and it's a bad situation for ISBA. He's one of the best coaches we have so losing him for any period of time is a big blow. With Christmas around the corner hopefully someone steps up and buys him a PS3 slim. There's plenty of deals out there right now. If that happened, he'd only miss 1 season. I'm still hopefully he gets back for this current season but it looks iffy.
Ante: I think he'll get it done before allstar break and join us and right before the playoffs he'll get geared up and go in #BALLSsohard mode in the playoffs.
Bounce: It sucks that he again has to deal with a broken PS3. I remember almost everyone here at some point had to fix or replace their PS3. Its never a good thing, and I hope that he's back as soon as possible. It won't be the same fun to conquer the West without Paul playing.
2. Your overall impressions from the opening week of #RevampAnte: My impressions are great. My team is on the right track, the leauge is active and fun as usual, we really got over the 1st failed season very well. Better than I expected.
Bounce: It started strong. Leroy joined, Envy rejoined, and they are trying to get in games. New guys seem also eager to play. Other than Paul's red light of doom everything is fine. The CPU is nicely tuned from day one so they are a decent challenge. If only we had nba2k.com working, it would be perfect
Bryan: nba2k.com lol...that's funny. I've been having fun on #Revamp. Activity has been good but then again, it always is the first week or 2 of the new season. But considering all the turmoil we've been through recently with the OA freezing and Vince being gone for a week, it's been a positive new beginning.
3. KJ's attitude has been questionable in human games according to reports, is this a legit problem?Bounce: I'm not sure what causes those meltdowns. Sure thing, everyone has bad stretches or games here and there that are frustrating, but his report card indicates that it happens almost every game he's losing or things don't go his way. So, yes it is a legit concern.
Ante: I think it is a legit problem. Mr. #bodybag is in serious emotional issues right now, he's hiding behind the triple double (devil) alcohol, hoes and drugs, his team has suffered a lot, he's more drunk than Jeebs in his prime. Hell jeebs was never high when he coached, nor he was in a triple thread, I mean threeway. Idk if it's all true but it isn't good at all.
Bryan: I can't speak to this issue much because I've never seen it first hand but some of the reports sound troubling. I wish he'd keep it together better or at least try to hide his anger better. I know KJ has said he doesn't like this game much and I'm sure that's the root of it. I really like KJ and think he's been a great member here the last 12-14 months. He needs to get his mind right and move on from this.
4. How much have you missed Vince since he's been gone?Bryan: I've missed him quite a bit. He's a good bloke and one of the original members. At least he was on Twitter and the forum a little bit during his hiatus. Now he's back and ready to take back the top spot in ISBA that he had last season in my eyes. This time around he'll have less competition in the East.
Ante: I've missed him, but he's back now and it's all good. I want to visit Miami soon. It will be a great game. My opinion on Miami is that they will cruise to the Finals. No real challenger there. Envy isn't that type of caliber, KJ has too many emotional brick walls to climb to beat Miami only once IMO. Hassan has a bad team, he can't do it.
Bounce: Vince? I totally forgot Vince exists until this question. Yeah... no, I didn't miss him. At all.
5. Fact or Fiction: Damian Lillard will win Rookie of the YearBounce: Fact. Bradley Beal's scoring alone won't give him the nod, as seen in season one where White took the title over high scoring gunner Ross. Speaking of Royce, his recent Twitter heroics and trade to Utah eliminated him from contention. Lillard is the clear favorite at this point.
Ante: Fact. Who gon' stop him?
Bryan: I'm sure it's fact if Ante is going to abuse him in user games and let him score 33 points. What a tough guy. I will stat pad against the CPU but I can contain myself in human games. I'm still holding out hope for Kidd-Gilchrist.
6. Fact or Fiction: The OA will work properly this time aroundBryan: If we don't pause it ever or advance early to the playoffs, we'll be fine. So I'll bravely say Fact.
Ante: I won't answer this for basketball reasons. #mywords
Bounce: Fact. 2K is known for throwing a curveball and have the most logical things make zero sense, but I'm positive that unless we pause before the offseason, that we are going to have a working multi-year OA.

Thank you guys for your contributions this week and thank you to the fans for reading. Last night I saw a reasonable movie that reminded me of my relationship with Crax.
