Welcome to the official thread of the ISBA Brooklyn Nets. This thread will give you a behind the scenes look at the Nets all year long as we climb the ISBA mountain one final time. Throughout the season we will be discussing a variety of things in this thread so feel free to stop by and add your opinion whenever you want fellow coaches. You can also follow the Nets all season long on twitter @isba_Bryan
Goals for year 1
-Finish season above .500 -Have a player make the all-star team -Record a trip dub with any player -Beat the Knicks head to head and finish ahead of them in the final standings -Have fun and don't break any controllers
Thanks for stopping by to check out the initial post of my thread. This thread will update frequently so stay tuned.

Awesome, congrats on being the first*. Hope you're more competent than the Avery Johnson/Billy King duo.
*Probably the last time Nets will be first in anything positive.

Simply put, epic video.
So, we'll have individual threads, not blogs?

^You can choose either one. Bryan went with the thread, I'm sure that Ante (among others) will go with a blog as he's doing a nice job in his 2 running blogs. Rockets getting a blog/thread any time soon?

I chose to be safe and use the thread format. It's dependable and I like the way it flows.
Kristen Stewart as a troubled, young stripper in New Orleans ftw

My pick of the crop from recently watched films is There Will Be Blood - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0469494/. I'm ashamed it took me five years to watch this masterpiece. I'm positive Rockstar drew inspiration for RDR from Daniel Day-Lewis' magnificent performance.

what's the difference of making a thread/blog?

In a blog, every official news you want to post is going to be seen as a new entry...f.ex. Bryan's thread will be like every thread, you will see a thread from the outside, but when you click on it you will have to go through movie (with all due respect) nonsense to find his actual news...With blogs you will have news separated & you won't have to go through no random stuff to find that particular news via blog...I hope this explains, sorry Bryan for off topic...

Totally agree, I watched There Will Be Blood about 5 times. Beautiful movie. RDR has a place on the map called Plainview or sth, definitely to do with the movie.

3 hours long for There Will Be Blood...wow...better clear an entire evening to watch that.
Finally got around to seeing 500 Days of Summer last night. Luka ruined that movie for me because I kept thinking about him every time his idol JGL opened his mouth. A little disappointed that I never got the urge to cry. That's half the fun with romance movies. :blake:
The only remotely moving scene was at the end when they bump into each other at that park. But that's so unrealistic to get that type of closure on a relationship. At least I never have.
Autumn > Summer
Crax trash talking Kristen Stewart :rondo:
Sorry, we all can't be as good as your hero Kate Winslet.

I love Zooey ever since watching Elf in 2003. Beautiful eyes. So 500 Days of Summer was a joy to watch, especially when I saw JGL repping The Smiths, The Clash and Joy Division.
Downloading Welcome to the Rileys, will watch it in a few days.

And his new movie with Bruce Willis, Looper, is currently holding 97% on Rotten Tomatoes - http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/looper/. Will definitely check it out at the cinema.

50/50 was borderline amazing imo
I had high expectations going in and it lived up to the hype. I got emotional a couple times during it.
Kate Winslet in The Reader >
The Holiday is a crappy/good movie too. Titanic is one of my all-time favs. Admitting that makes me somewhat homo but I'm OK with that. Contagion was a huge let down but it was tolerable. I have an enormous crush/hard on for Kate Winslet. Incredibly sexy woman.
My next order of business is to watch There Will be Blood

Titanic is the worst movie ever IMO...
Leonardo di Caprio is one of my favorite actors, but that movie is disgusting...

You just love that show huh? Between this and your numerous Barney Stinson mentions throughout the years. Everyone says its a good show but for some reason I have no desire to watch it. I even like most of the cast members. :lma1:
Alyson Hannigan from her American Pie days >
American Reunion was quite good too btw.
