| Probably the best interview any NBA owner ever gave - Interview - Quote :
- Q: Your impressions of Bryan and Deron.
A: Bryan is very straightforward, systematic. I like the fact that, in addition to having a talented team, we have a team with a lot of spirit and high morale, which is something Bryan really works on. He’s great with discipline for those who need it... |

| Brooklyn Nets WeeklyDeron Williams hits a late three to clinch the Nets win in MSGThe first installment of Battle:NY was a tight game with a little bit of lag and plenty of passion. The Knicks jumped out to a 6 point lead in the 2nd quarter and Coach Bryan called a time out to settle his troops. From then on the Nets took the lead and held the lead for the rest of the game and narrowly escaped MSG with a 66-61 victory. The Knicks cut a 10 pt deficit to 2 pts after a Jason Kidd steal and layup with 30 seconds left but DWill came right back with a three with 10 seconds left to seal the deal. DWill had 10 pts, 15 asts, and 7 rebs to lead the Brooklyn charge. Joe Johnson had 12 and several others had 6-8 pts to lead a balanced attack. In the night cap the Nets defeated the Sixers in the second installment of the #Boardwalkclassic The Sixers lead from start to finish before letting some of the reserves play in the final 5 minutes. During that span the Nets left their starters in and took control of the game. So while the Nets won, the Sixers were the better team that night. The Nets are 42-12 on the season and are very close to clinching the division over Boston. A CPU win over the Pacers will do it. Coach Bryan post game comments, sponsored by Keystone Light: Always SmoothIt was a great win over the Knicks tonight. They are such a dangerous team that they keep you on your toes on defense from start to finish. We executed well in the 2nd half and DWill closed the game out like a champion. Great team win for us. The Sixers outplayed us most of the game. That was some of the best defense I've seen all season. Hawes really killed us. The Nets have 1 CPU left and human games against Envy, KJ, and Kia left. |

| Brooklyn Nets vs New York KnicksBest of 3 series begins WednesdayThe best of three series in Battle:NY is set to tip off Wednesday afternoon in the Barclays Center. The two teams recently played, with the Nets winning in MSG. That game is irrelevant now as its win or go home time for both teams. Game one is scheduled to begin sometime after 5:15 pm ET. Coach Bryan thoughts on first round series with KnicksIt's going to be a fun challenge for our guys. Unlike most of the coaches in the playoffs nobody is making excuses in this series. Both coaches are motivated to play and I think the product on the floor will reflect that. This is going to be tough for us. They are extremely talented and Melo is the type of guy who can take over and win a game by himself. We're going to make a few tweaks to our rotation but generally we're going to play the same brand of ball we've played all season. |

| Game 2 goes to the Knicks. The game disconnected in the 3rd but I felt like Justin had enough control to give him the win and move on to game 3. Melo was going bananas no matter who I put on him. Buike let me down hard.
Game 3 either later tonight or tomorrow. Back to Brooklyn baby. Hopefully I don't miss every shot in the first quarter this time.

When I award NYK the game 2 win it tried to say Lopez got hurt and would miss game 3. I will be unlocking gm 2 and awarding him the win again to avoid that BS. Not that it would matter since Lopez is playing more like Robin in this series.

| Brooklyn Eliminated by Knicks in Game 3 DramaThe dynamic duo of DWill and Brook Lopez weren't enough to advanceThe Brooklyn Nets season ended Thursday night with a "loss" at home in Barclays Center to cross city rival New York Knicks. I put loss in quotes because the game disconnected in overtime with the score tied at 64. With both coaches naturally upset with that outcome, Coach Bryan decided to advance Justin to the 2nd round because he couldn't be bothered by anymore 2k drama. Little did he know what would happen 60 seconds later when the OA advanced past the playoffs and straight into offseason. A typical end to the season in many aspects. The Knicks led by 17 at one point in the 4th and the boo birds could be heard in Barclays but the Nets had one last run in them and with 3 seconds left DWill drained a three to tie the game at 64. Carmelo Anthony had a decent look at three for the win but the shot missed and we headed to OT. The Nets won the tip and after 3-4 seconds of intense lag, the game disconnected. A very disappointing way to end the series and ultimately the season for the 40 win Brooklyn Nets. Coach Bryan post series interview, sponsored by Keystone Light: Always SmoothCouldn't be more disappointed with the outcome of the series and ultimately the OA season in general. In terms of this series, these teams are about as evenly matched as possible. The coaching matchup is basically a draw too and we saw that reflected. We won the lone regular season game, we split the first two playoff games, and game 3 disconnects in overtime with the score tied. You can't get any closer than that. Justin is a great guy and I hope him and Boston play unranked because he's a very serious threat in these playoffs. I'm proud of my team for the solid season but we won't get into that yet. Brooklyn won 40+ games this season. The 2nd straight year Bryan has coached a 40 win team (Mavs, year 2 on #Revamp, year 1 ISBA 2k13) |
